    ... Desperately needing to try the best frites in town, we were sent to Fritland. We had delicious frites with mayonaise and with cayenne mayonaise. The frites here are cooked twice - once to cook the potatoe almost completely then cooled.     ... the very first time!

    It was tasty. Similar to beef of course. A bit tougher, with it's own rich flavor. I polished it off with Adam nabbing a few bites. Adam himself dined on a rack of lamb. We chatted up the ladies next to us, who were from Jersey. Finally, before turning in for the night we shopped around to replace the Trappist beer of our host's that we drank and then stopped at one last cafe for a drink.

    We stayed in Brussels for two nights at a beautiful, artsy hostel. In fact, Brussels had a lot to offer in terms of street art. There were installations, murals and even walking art tours all over central Brussels. We did have to take two metro lines to reach our hostel, but it was a fifteen minute walk to the centre of the city from there.
