Now in Kalona which has many Amish and Mennonites and the others who are known as the 'English' to those folk.
It was a nice town and we walked around it. I met a lovely lady called Marlene who was minding the antique shop. Most of the items were on consignment for different people. ... a SUV and drove away. After dinner we continued our shopping at a local store and spent more money on some items than we normally would, oh well, we are on vacation!
On the way back to Coralville, we traveled through Riverside, IA, the future birthplace of James Tiberius Kirk, captain of the star ship Enterprise! They have a museum which has a time capsule which is to be open on Mar 22, 2228 (the birthdate). They have a Trek Fest every June and several ...
... bit, I screwed my chair to the floor so it won't move (hopefully) while traveling and by that time, I needed a break so Bob's chair will have to wait until later. We also made a trip to the post office and stopped at the mall to do some walking.

After spending about 6 hours here (in a 2
hour parking zone taking up nearly 2 spaces) -but the Sheriff did wave
to us - e moved on to the Amana colonies where the only available
camping place was a commercial one but rather cheaper than most as it
was only $34 and surprise, we got a 50% discount with our Passport
America card. It was really huge but nice.
