A very scenic drive south to Brisbane around all the beaches to the North, to await the arrival of Mr & Mrs Kenny (senior) who were flying in from Singapore. Having left Sydney behind and catching up with family in
Brisbane, we had a few days to do some sightseeing. We managed to find a few
craft beer establishments, in Newstead area we found Tippler's Tap. This was a rather
odd bar, located in a modern block you went through a narrow passage and into a
smallish, dark and dingy bar space not helped by the black painted ceiling. We
were there for the beer and a good range of craft beers from Australia

The wildlife in South Africa is fantastic, we saw most animals which are to be found in the wild, but you need to visit the special parks. Unlike Australia, where wildlife is to be seen anywhere at anytime, in South Africa we saw very little wildlife outside the parks with exception of monkeys which were present at various places.
Whether the South African parks are the best, I can’t say as there are many ...
