... steak before they cook it. They will present it to you and ask if it's okay. The weight includes the bone. Why check it? You could get a big surprise on your bill like we did. We ordered 1kg, but when the bill came, it was for 1.6 kg...When you order, they'll say they'll try to make it close to 1 kg (but they don't say whether that's on top of the bone) so be clear. We think we ended up with 1 kg of meat and 600g of bone...otherwise a really good dinner.

    ... some lunch as well as some fresh bread from the local bakery… we even stopped at the Bar on Piazza San Francesco for a ‘Coretto’ each…very nice.

    The afternoon was spent reading, Sudoku - ing and Mary doing her Italian classes…she really is getting much more confident and I’m very proud of her…of course she feels very inadequate as soon as someone talks back to her as they more than likely speak too quickly and Mary gets ...

Garden styles adapted from the Middle East and Italy, as well as English gardens. The grotto at the house was styled after a theater. The grotto itself was relatively simple, but very nice, and surrounded by a semi-circle of shrubs about three stories high. In this semi-circle there were "door" openings cut into the greenery where you could come out ...

    ... sink (1.99 eurot pakk). Jõudsime väsinult hotelli ja näksisime neid ja ei viitsinudki ristorante’sse sööma minna, sest lõunane pizza oli meid hästi toitnud.

    Homseks olen planeerinud veel ühe aktiivse päeva: Firenze. Siis reedel proovime natukene vähem kõndida ja vähem asju ette võtta. Üks lisaplaan on ka tekkinud juba kahe esimese päevaga, aga see selgub täpsemalt nädala pärast (kui oleme olnud edukad ja reisikava läbinud), kas üldse ja täpsemalt kuhu.
