... with my new glasses in had come out-grrrr. On the way back Jamie and I searched for them with our eyes per inanely fixed to the ground, but NO luck :-( The only thing poor Jamie got was a bump on his head from continuously looking down-he "smacked his head on a tree-oooops!!!!

I even went back and did the 40 minute walk a 2nd time-but NO GLASSES!!!!. Baaaaa!! They're my new ones too!!!

... an oasis of native plants. We walked on some of the trails until they got too steep for me. On the way back to Pine Haven we took a drive to Wainuiomata just north of the city. The chief attraction is the view from the top of the Wainuiomata Hill Road. There, before us, was the panorama of the Hutt Valley, Wellington, the harbor and Cook Strait...And the sun was shining. ... worlds coldest lake ever. Finished our hike around 2. Got back to Nelson at 4. Had pizza and mix drinks in Nelson around 6 to celebrate surviving. Then ran a black ops mission to toms (from bay of islands) house and rachel & Scotties (pacific discovery founders). Then we watched step brothers then more drinks. Tomorrow could've been skydiving and kayaking but I don't have the lettuce or the balls to pull it off so I'm running errands and getting a new headlamp ...
