... I found one site that look like it may work although it required a little tree trimming. It was dead wood anyway, so I did not feel too bad about it. Two swings of my car wash brush on a pole and the problem was solved. With a little butter and a prayer, Kristi help squeeze me in. This is exactly why I choose to get a slightly smaller RV! These back country campgrounds are simply not made for big RVs.

... the car again and we were able to ride together for the rest of the way - much better. Although we saw snow on lots of mountains on the way, we arrived at our camp ground just before dark - with no snow on the ground - and Fred unhooked the car for the 4th time today so that we would be ready to go sightseeing first thing in the morning. ... Thanksgiving Day camping down in the canyon itself. It was a long walk down but there was absolutely no-one else around. Bliss. On our way down into the canyon, a dam worker drove past us and we had a chat. We told him we were camping out in the snow and he called us "ambitious sons-o-*****es." We thought that was hilarious.
