Out and About in Belgium
... ground with lots of rides, ferris wheel, etc, side shows, fortune teller and stalls then to the city centre with its cathedral, quaint streets and canals, lots of cafes and souvenir shops. Antwerp, red light district and Bornem
... then accidentally found ourselves in the red light district. That was interesting. It comprised two small streets with a wide walking path that separated glass window storefronts in which either mostly naked or semi-naked or simply lingerie clad women sat in chairs or sat chatting to one another or putting on makeup. Cliffs of Dover...and the drive to Brussels
... drive through the French countryside (and it would continue on into the Belgian countryside) was the overwhelming aroma of cow ****. And to make matters worse, every gas station in France closes by 9pm...and those that still have gas and allow you to fill up using a pay-by-card reader, only allow you to use CREDIT cards that have a chip and pin...not debit cards...and not swipe and sign credit cards. Your credit card has to have a chip and pin code. ...

... toenemende "auto"verkeer , en dichtslibbende wegen , wil ik bewijzen dat er degelijke alternatieven bestaan om zich te verplaatsen. Een scooter lijkt in mijn ogen, bij normale weersomstandigheden, een volwaardig alternatief om zich in ons kleine landje te verplaatsen ..
Het is zuinig, je staat niet in de file, en zelfs de parkeermeter mag je negeren.
