... time and our tummies were rumbling. On the way to an "eat where the locals eat" deli, we passed - then went back to - a Tibetan restaurant. OMG - the best vege curry with brown rice, kelp, red onion, gluten free wholegrain pappadam, spinach salad and gluten free pita you could ever want! ... the BC version that is almost as high, but not Quite as wide as the Ontario version, as the picture will show. On the way back we drove over the Malahat for a scenic view across Findlayson Arm to Brentwood Bay... followed by my second Serious Coffee, before heading home to regroup and then dinner at Pizza Prima Strada for great Naples style pizza, with some vino rosso of course! ... private campgrounds & motels nearby are booked out & all reservable sites at provincial parks are full. A few provincial parks have some "first come, first served" (FCFS) sites that can't be reserved online and are allotted to whoever rocks up at the park first. We can't really find anything else so I think we may give these a go. We've got a list of nearby parks which have FCFS sites so we'll check them out tomorrow & fingers crossed we can find somewhere to ...

... it back, I throw it, she brings it back... on and on and on. Tucker just walks and sniffs, and sometimes interferes in the game, barking loud, just because he is jealous, since it is clear this"bringing things back" doesn't amuse him at all.

The walk was beautiful, pebble beach, big pieces of wood lying there since the last high tide, places where people and dogs gather, and where the dogs enjoy going to swim in the ocean ...
