... The staff and the decor were really cool, def worth trying if ever you come to Victoria. With our food babies, we cruised downtown and wandered around the souveneir shops and the harbour.

The girls skating was really good. The rink was of course quite cold, but I guess that's to be expected in an ice rink. Kerri made us Pierogi's for dinner, which were a dough filled with mashed potato and either cheese, onion or bacon (we had all three). They were delicious!!!

... Weather; Overcast, Passing showers, light winds, 1017.2 mb, 15o C. Wednesday 27 August 2014 Tracey Arm / Juneau. Approaching Tracey Arm Fjord at 0620 we travelled along the 30 mile passage passing the mountainous scenery, we then executed a 180o turn and proceeded on a reciprocal course out of the Fjord at approx 1000. Then travelling in a Northerly direction, headed through Gastineau Channel towards Juneau, berthing with first line ashore at 1250. ...

... Tour. As you remember we are fond of hop-on hop-off buses but this one is a bus that has been adapted to into the water and become a boat. The tour was approx 90 minutes with about 1/2 the time as a boat. Very interesting as we spent some spent some of the time in Victoria Harbour, not as good as ours, but they have a lot odf small seaplanes landing and taking off.

... bus, which drove us on to the ferry for a gorgeous 2 hour cruise across to Vancouver Island. We sat up on deck in the warm sunshine, watched the islands pass us by, and tried to forget the last 24 hours. Just lovely.
