... it was getting close to 7pm, we opted for dinner first. Going to a restaurant recommended by Dave and Vicki Standen and the waiter at Shine, we headed to Pagliacci. Turns out this is a fav of locals. We were warned that we'd have a wait which turned out to be a 30 minute wait. There were two things I wanted to do while I was in Victoria: visit the Butchart Gardens and take tea in the Fairmont Empress hotel. I did both. The Butchart Gardens were smaller than I expected but just as spectacular as the photos (Google them; they really look like that). ... off corridors turn the wrong way and you are a goner.
I haven't shown you my new travelling companion............picture attached.
I spent Sunday afternoon walking the streets of this beautiful city snapping away as I do and guess what.................I found a coffee shop and you guessed it they made me a great cappuccino. Yeah my coffee craving has been satisfied(for now).
