    ... have a great setup in the back seat with a personal travel organizer complete with a folding tray for snacks. They have a cooler, DVD player and even the wii. We are doing screen time in moderation to break up the trip. Christian commented that if I don't represent him in a positive light in this blog that he will create a counter blog and title it "the real story of our family vacation." ...

    So we successfully made it to Chattanooga. Christian booked all of the hotels that we are staying at and chose a historic hotel downtown that is very old. We got into our room and it was hot and smelled musty. I got very crabby worrying about it bothering Ty's Asthma and my sinuses. Long story short we got our room switched and it's much better. We've now headed across the street to a 50 styles diner. We all need food! We are getting ...

    ... three shows until the fall lineup comes out on the West End. I am working on figuring out the London tube system. I will talk with Miss Anna (student teacher from last year) who lived in London for almost a year about that and any fun ideas she might have.     ... about all the pictures and first hand accounts I could bring back to my US History classroom made me giddy with excitement. To be able to share that experience with two top notch colleagues meant that we could bring back information that would challenge our students to read, analyze, write, argue, defend, support, and all of those other critical thinking skills that teachers are constantly trying to tap into with their kids.
