      ... We'd read about a renowned bakery here called True Grain which turned out to justify the hype and picked up some bread as well as some cheese from Hilary's Cheese Shop.       ... Tofino was a surfers paradise for us great for watching and walking along the many beaches. Cox bay was full of surfers as the waves were huge. We also went to Chesterman beach home to Frank Island which in low tide you can walk to and in high tide it is completely surrounded by water.       ... at the Wickininnish Spa - "Ancient cedars".

      It's always the wee things that make the difference. A locker with your name on it waiting for you, the luxurious double layered robe the enveloped me as I sat outside looking out at the beach in a little sanctuary, with my citrus water by my side and a pile of the latest trashy magazines. ( As an aside their over 50s magazine here is called "zoomers!" For baby boomers with zip!)
