It was indeed a great adventure. A big thank you to my worthy and esteemed second cousin Donna for all the hours you spent organizing and agonizing over the logistics of making such an epic journey. You made it so wonderful and memorable for me. To be able to spend so many hours in the homes of friends and family-unforgettable! Thanks for a being a great travelling companion!

Paris - London - Edinburgh - Westfield
... We finally arrived in Edinburgh at 4.25pm. Geoff picked us up from the station and took us to Edinburgh airport where we picked up our rental car - a Renault Clio and we followed him back to their house.
We had tea consisting of pumpkin soup and oatcakes and desert with Geoff and Marion and then we talked a bit more before going to bed at 10pm.
