Just returned from a stay at Lolly's. From the moment you are warmly greeted to the moment you leave Lolly's is a wee gem. William and Gerry are fantastic hosts, the hotel is spotless and the food is homemade, plentiful and delicious. Will stay there every time I go to

We luv Lolly's
Just back from a fantastic 2 days at Blackpool. Stayed at Lolly's Hotel on Regents Road. Its a must! We were at Paolo Nutini concert at Winter Gardens. Lolly's is 2 streets away which is ideal for all you budding giggers! The hotel is run by a smashing gay couple Gerry and William. From the moment we stepped in through the door the service was fantastic, they made us feel very welcome and this was continued right over the 2 days. If your up for laughs head there, there absolutely barking mad!!!!!!! The hotel was spotlessly clean, got guided tour before we booked in. Food was great!! Gerry makes a mean curry!!! Hardly left hotel as the company was so good!!!!!!! Booked in already to return in july, cant wait!!!!!

We have just spent a lovely weekend in Blackpool and stayed at Lolly's hotel. We felt so welcome from the first moment we arrived. Room was spotless, nicely decorated and food like at home. Not to mention the excellent location - 5 minutes walk to the shops and all attractions. We will definitely go back there.

In the Gallery was the Bubbles painting that as a child I remember advertising Pears soap. Pears was a rival, but was taken over by Lever brothers about 1915. So William (later Lord Leverhulme) built the art gallery and named it for his wife, and built a ...
... a good look at all the houses including the back yards and a walk down the back alley. It was lots of fun and I think even Tony enjoyed himself.
Tour over, it was back to Liverpool for a spot of lunch before our next tour…..a taxi tour around all the significant Beatles’ sites. This is a great way to not just see places to do with the Beatles, but also gave us a good look around Liverpool suburbs which we probably would ...
... One funny thing is that as we walk around and hear snatches of conversation - especially in groups of teenagers - we can hear they are probably speaking English, but can't understand a word of what they are saying!!! It is a funny (to us) accent, and dialect, and Amr and I just look at each other and shake our heads - not a clue!! One more day here, then off to St Bees on Tuesday. AND the weather forecast so far remains ...

Yes, just 25 more sleeps until we fly, fly, fly!!! I've been very busy with life, work, playing the guitar, other things ... But now New York is in sight. Now i can visualise 25 sleeps, just over three weeks away. When I first booked our holiday, I wanted the weeks to go very slowly so that I could take my time with planning because for me, that is also part of the holiday. Plus, I know that ...
