      We luv Lolly's

      from

Just back from a fantastic 2 days at Blackpool. Stayed at Lolly's Hotel on Regents Road. Its a must! We were at Paolo Nutini concert at Winter Gardens. Lolly's is 2 streets away which is ideal for all you budding giggers! The hotel is run by a smashing gay couple Gerry and William. From the moment we stepped in through the door the service was fantastic, they made us feel very welcome and this was continued right over the 2 days. If your up for laughs head there, there absolutely barking mad!!!!!!! The hotel was spotlessly clean, got guided tour before we booked in. Food was great!! Gerry makes a mean curry!!! Hardly left hotel as the company was so good!!!!!!! Booked in already to return in july, cant wait!!!!!

We have just spent a lovely weekend in Blackpool and stayed at Lolly's hotel. We felt so welcome from the first moment we arrived. Room was spotless, nicely decorated and food like at home. Not to mention the excellent location - 5 minutes walk to the shops and all attractions. We will definitely go back there.

      New Years Day

      Yeah 2015!!

Today was to be a busy day and everyone was very excited! Roz and Rob headed over to pick up Rosie and the four of us piled into Roz's Honda Jazz and headed into Manchester, Trafford Park. First stop was the snow dome - Chill Factore.

It was fantastic - it was quiet, I guess because of the New Year, we took the kids to the snow park, it had a luge, donuts with moguls, and a straight ...

First event was a puddle which had iced over and then we had to stop at the railway crossing. The train that went by had a roof covered in snow...but the kids missed it! When we made it to the seafront (Marni still walking, although we had done 1,2,3....swing! - Brody is just too heavy though.) There was snow in the Lakes District hills. Yeah...very exciting. We walked along the seafront and went into the first pub we found ...

... back of the car (Roger drove to Sue's) - good decision as started snowing and temperature hovering about 1 degree when time to go home. Need to change the tyres - putting the 32mm tyres on for the silky smooth (!!) roads of Egypt. Also put one of the folding MB tyres onto the rim I'm taking (along with a tube) but packing the pair to it as they are folding ones. Not sure if this will be allowed on the truck roof by TDA - we are ...

Brody played with them (staying out of the puddles). He went on the flying fox, over the obstacle course, back on the flying fox and in the big swing. Marni was a bit quieter, in fact I don't think her new ...

Well Brody was up early today!! Surprise! He actually didn't sleep so well, in the hope of seeing or hearing Santa. He does wake up super happy! Whereas Marni....."I too tired to go downstairs and open my presents, I just need to lie down and have my milk first....turn the light off please, its too bright" oh princess..

Brody sorted her out pretty quickly and off they went very happy ...
