Just returned from a stay at Lolly's. From the moment you are warmly greeted to the moment you leave Lolly's is a wee gem. William and Gerry are fantastic hosts, the hotel is spotless and the food is homemade, plentiful and delicious. Will stay there every time I go to

We luv Lolly's
Just back from a fantastic 2 days at Blackpool. Stayed at Lolly's Hotel on Regents Road. Its a must! We were at Paolo Nutini concert at Winter Gardens. Lolly's is 2 streets away which is ideal for all you budding giggers! The hotel is run by a smashing gay couple Gerry and William. From the moment we stepped in through the door the service was fantastic, they made us feel very welcome and this was continued right over the 2 days. If your up for laughs head there, there absolutely barking mad!!!!!!! The hotel was spotlessly clean, got guided tour before we booked in. Food was great!! Gerry makes a mean curry!!! Hardly left hotel as the company was so good!!!!!!! Booked in already to return in july, cant wait!!!!!

We have just spent a lovely weekend in Blackpool and stayed at Lolly's hotel. We felt so welcome from the first moment we arrived. Room was spotless, nicely decorated and food like at home. Not to mention the excellent location - 5 minutes walk to the shops and all attractions. We will definitely go back there.

Whilst the flight from HK quiet, the flight to Manchester was full of English holiday makers who were all resembling ripe tomatoes with their sunburns. I was sat in the middle isles (the ...
The morning broke reasonably fine although rain threatened. So we decided to go for a walk in Ulverston through the "lanes". It was pleasant but started to rain so we cut it short. After lunch Helen produced a variant on Monopoly which uses cards only and no board but which is much faster. It was fun to try it and we are going to buy it when we get back ...
It was only a short drive from Barrow in Furness to Ulverstone where we met up,with the Storry/Murtagh family. We were in Ulverstone for Jackie's first anniversary. Sunday, Chris and I cooked dinner for the combined family and friends. 19 in all. Monday we met with Jackie's parents, Alan and Moira Storry for lunch at their home. For our evening meal, Jackie's friends, Maf and Ronnie Haddow organised a ...
After having handed the keys back in and doing a load of washing, we headed off to Ulverston where we are to stay for a couple of nights with Tamara's Aunt Barbara. It was pouring with rain behind we left Windermere but it had cleared up by the time we traveled the short distance to Ulverston. T's cousin, Helen, who ...
We travelled onto Barrow in Furness in the Lake District. Our GPS was set to stay off motorways so our driving was through some beautiful back road country towns. Skipton was on our route so we spent some time exploring Skipton Castle. The castle was built in 1090 and is now privately owned by Fattorini ...
