Unfortunately, we couldn't understand very much of what the guide said as he had a really heavy accent. I do love junk food. We had ...

Back to our room for a few pre-excursion drinks and then we were heading for the Eiffel Tower to see in the New Year......... Continued Part ...

I’m trying to finish it as soon as I can so I can just leave it behind somewhere and save some space in my bag. I’m about 120 pages from the end, and I’m surprised at that. It takes me ages to finish books, and even though it ...

... that nearly ran me over). I sat on the tram today – the driver just waited for a car to get out of his way. He didn’t ring the bell and gesticulate. Just patiently waited then glided off. And drivers are the same – they will wait. It’s all a bit weird. In so many places the normal thing is that drivers beep the car in front or the one blocking their path, to force them into driving out of the way. I like the Gent ...
