... a tendency on some pix to slant the camera down to the left, causing me to muse about any Blurb book.

First rum and coke in four weeks. Got the little bottle from AC which was a pleasant surprise. Pasta dinner was better than expected. The music options need some work but Foreigner and INXS albums were the best of it. It became a pattern of rest, some music and watch the flight map.

Got to the airport without incident. Things seemed to go pretty smoothly even though it was a busy week for everyone leading up to the trip. We played around in the yard for a bit, making snowangels and learning the art of snowball creation from FLUFFY snow, while our housemate stared at us like weirdo's who had ...

    A LONG FINAL DAY

... passport control. Same was moving along until there was an announcemnt about the Istanbul flight, botching any fluidity. All the while the clock was ticking. It seems the most suspicious-looking staff must be chosen for passport control.

For our 0410 flight, we boarded c 0355, I am sure well after last call. All the dominoes would have been destroyed if we were not able to board.

I would have been happy to try to rest but food came ...
