... Twin Lake Villas in New London every other summer visiting family there! The boys all had a blast, riding bikes around the neighborhood and just playing. They even rode to the Rand's house to play on their slack line. Although Eagle River has a lot of new things every time I come back (we just got a Walgreen's, for example) some things never change. I still run into people I know everywhere I go.

... marine mammals. As far as hunting was concerned the key words appeared to be 'native' & 'subsistence'. Luckily no one else came to the stand whilst I was there so I was able to talk to the NOAA guy for some time - he probably wished someone else would come by!!

The photos of the Fair will show some of what else I saw. The guys on the bikes who were doing stunts were incredible, I hope you can gauge their skill from the photos.

... town Anchorage on Fish Creek this pass weekend. Not sure how that went since the creeks are high.  57 today. Rain off and on. Gas is 3.97 a gal and diesel is 4.15 to 4.21 a gal. Eggs are high, over $3.00 a doz. Milk is over $3.00 a gal. Walmarts shelves are pretty bear. ...
