    5/17 Monday

After a couple of flights - one being on the new 787 Dreamliner, and a 45 minute drive- we arrived at the Beach Harbor resort.

Got a nap in before we all met up to plan the next day, had a bite to eat and off to bed.

It's ironic that such a lovely place has such a calamitous lineage. I don't remember where I ran across mention of Door County when I ...

... I had grown up with this.

The weather was funny. I think because I was driving either north or south, and the weather system was moving west to east, I kept driving in and out of it. All day long, wipers on...no - wipers intermittent...oops, sunglasses on...sunglasses off...hail...rain...brilliant sunshine..sunshine and rain at the same time...and on and on. No worry about falling asleep at the wheel, with all that fussing going on.
