    ... and is heading home for a short while to see family and then leaving to live/work in New Zealand for a year. He doesn't usually have much of a plan and just goes anywhere he wants. He is a skilled carpenter and is able to find work everywhere he goes. This conversation with James completely validated my decision to head back to the Samesun for my last night.     This morning was a grey and drizzly morning, so we had a bit of a sleep in. We stayed in most of the morning, not too keen to battle the weather outside.

    ... covered in harbour seals. We saw loads just hanging out on the rocks and cruising around in the water, little baby ones too. On the way back to Vancouver the humpback was spotted and we got half hour to check him out. He wasn't really doing anything exciting and just coming up for a bit of air every few minutes. We didn't get to see much of him which was a bit of a disappointment but still my first time seeing a humpback so can't complain at all.
