    ... in the late 1890s was pleased to name it after himself!!) is at the other end of the water front to the hotel but has been duly visited on foot. A lovely green oasis but not as quiet as expected as there was an outdoor pop concert happening - time to best a hasty retreat! The funniest sight on Saturday was a man running pushing a baby stroller and as he ran by I realised that attached to his belt at the back was a woman on skates! Good plan if you can find a willing runner!! ...

    ... the ground I treated myself to a "you survived" cookie and waited for everyone to make it back down. We then went to explore an old copper mine by riding a train through some of the old tunnels. This was really cool to see as the in functioning mine is now a museum but they have left the original tools that the miners would have used.     ... 160;Since we have spent time in this sprawling, loud, dusty, hot metropolis before, we are opting to take a boat up the Mekong Delta.  Last time we  travelled from Vietnam to Cambodia by river and really enjoyed it.  So we thought a repeat is in order.  Great floating markets  and river traffic..what more can a photographer ask for?
