... Afterwards we wandered through Oakland and UPitts campus, and found ourselves in an old favorite gastropub by the name of Fuel and Fuddle, where we were met by our old friend from the fund Jacob and his girlfriend Kim, both of whom still work for the organization, but who happened to be out of town (north of Pittsburgh!) when we contacted them from DC. Because of fog in Paris we were delayed an hour, so instead of two hours to change planes we had about 50 minutes. We had to change terminals and of course go through security again. We got to the gate just as they were boarding. There is only one flight a day from Paris to Pittsburgh so I was REALLY glad ...

... the memories made on this trip can not be forgotten. This was proven by how much we remembered with only the itinerary and uncaptioned photos for reference.

Our wish is that anyone reading this blog takes a chance and dares to visit new places near and far. It's the only way to realize people are more alike than different and we can learn so much from each other. Safe Travels, Char and ...
