... away was around 11PM, with me snugly sleeping under the covers and Barbara bringing her journal up to date. Had either of us wandered topside we could have seen the lights of Port Angeles across the straits. In fact I slept so soundly that when I awoke the next morning our deck hands had lobed the “monkey fist” from the bow and the first line had been hoisted over the pier bollocks. ... here and we visited a well-known bar called 'Big Bad John's' where peanut shells litter the floor, together with bra's and all sorts of other memorabilia hanging from the ceiling.

... got out their cell phones, my life flashed before my eyes. Obviously, I was just profiling them since we lived to tell the story. At the wharf there are floating homes and businesses. We succumbed to the call of fried fish, salmon, and oysters. We did ask for no salt on the fries so I think we were ok! On the way back to the unremarkable bus stop we stopped for gelato! Yum! Ed studied the landmarks to know when to get off the bus, other wise I guess ...

... too. And, it was so-o-o smooth! Wonderful meal! Wonderful smells and met some pretty nice people! We REALLY needed to walk that meal off, so we headed down Government Street. By this time, the shops were closed, but not the Empress Hotel Bengal Lounge. At Pat and John Leikhim's suggestion, we went and had a drink there. It was very old world plush. I haven't shown you my new travelling companion............picture attached.
I spent Sunday afternoon walking the streets of this beautiful city snapping away as I do and guess what.................I found a coffee shop and you guessed it they made me a great cappuccino. Yeah my coffee craving has been satisfied(for now).
