    To family and friends: Unfortunately I decided to cut my tour of Asia short and return home for family reasons. I will publish my final days in South Korea for the sake of posterity but it will be slightly out of order. I may choose to resume my travels at some point this summer but if not, they will at least remain on my bucket list until checked off. Thank you for your interest in following the blog.     ... the new one. I was his surgical assistant and helped pass him stuff and talk out issues. It took a little tinkering to get everything right but in the end Chris changed the fuel pump! He was a greasy, gas covered, sweaty mess, but I was so proud of him! Learning new skills everyday! Its working well now btw! We mailed back the other one and no harm no foul! We spent the rest of the evening getting ready for our impending departure from Loxahatchee.

    After passing through Customs at Key West, I took off again (no fuel needed), this time VFR to Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE) and my favorite FBO, Banyan, from where I had departed on this trip on January 2. My weather radar display was now working again since I was once more inside the XM satellite coverage footprint. It showed several rain showers and buildups along my short route to KFXE which confirmed what I could see ahead of me. So great to have my cockpit ...
