      ... on the other Loveland base (Loveland Valley). We were skiing on Loveland Basin. So we decided to connect at the bottom of Loveland Basin. As they were skiing down to the base - Vienne lost control and went into the trees and hit a tree head on. The ski patrol had to get her out of the trees as she suffered a concussion. They took her via ambulance all the way back to the Denver children's hospital in Aurora. ...

      ... the Mountain Manhattan and Kelly had the White Hot Martini. We ordered starters - escargot, lamb tandoori, and potatoe chips with blue cheese and chives. Watched the Riviera golf tournament for a bit, talked to a bartender who used to live in Austin, and generally had a great time. Walked back to the condo, then watched the Oscars (not so great).

      The time has come for me to reconnect, brave my email inbox, pop that New Zealand SIM card out of my phone, and dress myself in an outfit that is not exclusive to tennis shoes and lycra.       ... br> So wikipedia tells me Breckenridge is 2926m above sea level with the top elevatin of 3962m. The top of Mammoth is 3369m with the base at 2420m which is lower. The top of Mount Kosiuszko is 2228m but Jindabyne is only 918m and of couse Collaroy is 0m - on the beach!
      Walked down to Breckenridge village tonight which was bigger than we first thought. Lots of touristy shops and bargain reduced ski gear - pity we have no spare luggage weight. Found some good restaurants ...
