... spending quite so much time in Heathrow Airport as we thought we would arrive a bit later.
The bus picked up time and only stopped in Leicester and Milton Keynes.
All in all it represented reasonable value for money as we booked quite a long way in advance however the train would have been more comfortable.
It will be interesting to see what the return trip will be like in a few weeks ...
Lazy Sunday at Newstead Abbey
... waterfalls, hedges, peacocks and Alex (Ahem!). After the cheap walk in the park we promptly headed to the nearest pub to satisfy Alex's insatiable appetite. Think the gut busting triple meat roast dinner did the trick. All in all the cheap walk around the park tallied up to around £50 including entrance, petrol, tea and lunch...not so cheap but definitely cheerful! ...

Originally I was informed that I could apply for the Uzbekistan and Chinese visa's 6 months prior to entry to these countries.
