... because all the prices were high.

Sunday - we decided to drive inland to visit a local cheese making facility. Since it was Sunday they weren't making cheese but they were selling so we bought some.

Drove through some of the small towns but they were closed!! Our town of Menominee was open but only all the restaurants and bars.

Well we are off to Green Bay ...

We started our trip with a lunch stop at the new Hard Rock Four Winds located in New Buffalo, MI. It is located in the SW portion of the state just above the Indiana border. From here we head to Milwaukee to see the first of 5 lighthouses for the day. ... and kept looking, and looking. . . finally stopping for
gas. A little brown sign had "Whitewater State Park" so we asked locals at the
pump for directions. Ahhh. Close by. Dan finds the park office and the
ranger to register, but all is full except "one space you won't like getting
into" and " no generator after 10". Hmmmmm.
