Yes we are here. Had a good long drive. The roads are monotonous so Geoff was tired. We checked out of hotel on Mackinac Island at 10am to catch boat at 10.30. They took care of our luggage and it was derived to boat by bike. We walked over about ten mins. ... luck, but everyone still wanted a 3 night stay even after labor day. I'm sure I could have got something last minute, but I couldn't wait that long. From the first call to all our subsequent calls and communication to our check in and breakfast in the morning they were nothing but easy to work with and friendly and helpful.
