      ... a place mat. I also bought a couple of crochet topped Christmas tea towels. With our Berlin browsing all done, we jumped back in the car and went for a drive around the back roads. Along the way we found a "Swiss chalet" cheese shop where the Amish family make a variety of cheeses.       ... t take long before the Aussies joined in and were playing a game of American football with the locals. All ages were in the game and they had an absolute ball.       Today is a 6 hour road trip!!! We got up a bit earlier this morning trying to get an early start. We had breaky then headed back up to our room to pack. We have a separate duffle type bag that is accumulating goodies to send home in a box. Once we got all packed up, the boys lugged it all down to the lobby while I did a last room check to make sure we hadn't forgotten anything.       The weather was good heading north...missed most of the rain that was predicted on Monday...but boy did we hit a lot of bugs in Georgia. Our windshield was practically covered! Then, when the rain hit, Richard was hesitant to turn in the wipers...thought we'd have a blinding mess...but it was fine. We stayed in Wytheville, VA last night and got a good start this morning.

      ... was about 2 storeys high. The wheels were as high as me. Had lunch in a park which was surrounded by small houses which looked as though they could have been workers houses.

      Went to Toledo again by freeway.The speed limit is 70 mph but not many cars stick to it. The road surface is often concrete with cuts in it which mads an awful sound and tend to make the car wobble.

      From Toledo we went onto smaller highway ...
