... finally, she is able to get her shoe on without too much pain, and hiking down hill is getting easier for her also. Heading down from the field, I am pretty sure I got to feed and pet the same donkey my other hiking group met during my 2008 thru hike! The farm itself is in total shambles - but the donkey is still there, and loving any attention it recieves.
