We arrived at the Detroit Airport at about 6:30 pm, got checked in, and they gave me a hard time about getting my boarding pass for the Paris to Lyon leg. However our tour director made a little noise and secured it for me. The taxi picked us up right on time and delivered us to the slots in Clinton where are bus was waiting for us. we're at it again, Michael and I are off for another month long journey, this time to Ecuador. Seems so short to us, though long to most of our colleagues. The real bonus here is it's in the same time zone as the U.S., uses the U;S. dollar AND is on the same electrical voltage as we are, so no need for any adapters!!!

I found this picture from our trip in 2007 in Central America. Funny that much hasn't changed. I'm still taking the same carry on ...

... again in Ann Arbor for our school mate Tom Wall's annual charity event.
Tom and his friend Natalia were with us for our last days in Harbor as they had road tripped from FL via Wisconsin. On July 10th we caravaned down to Ann Arbor with a lunch stop on the road near Flint and shopping at the Birch Run Outlet Center there. We agreed that we would meet again that night for dinner at the Gandy Dancer in A2.

Two minutes into the the game, wouldn't you know, Mike Trumpy (#32) is the play maker who gives NW the opportunity to get on the board first.
