One, they have relatives there, 2, it's a base to explore the nearby Pyrenees, or 3, they're visiting either as travelers or pilgrims to the biggest Marian site in the world. Travel day. Having had a good share of bus travel now, I think I like buses, planes and then trains in Europe. Why? Buses and planes, a staff member is always there, ensuring you don't get lost. ... but the medieval and renaissance buildings were quite pretty and in great shape. The streets were lined with cafes and restaurants and we made our decision to come back here for dinner.

On our way back to the hotel, we decided to grab a coffee/beer on the shopping district for some people watching. It was a nice break and after partaking in a little shopping ourselves, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner.

Enjoying a relaxed day in the countryside at my brother's: I had breakfast, sat outside in the sun for a bit, had a shower, had lunch, went for a bike ride (2nd one this year, after about 5 years of not getting on a bike! I'd actually forgotten how to ride a bicycle...) in the deep countryside. Saw some geese, ducks, houses being built, lots and lots of trees and chestnuts on the ground. The sun was warm and the air was fresh. Perfect. But now my bum is a little sore.

... donker. Omdat het zo warm is besluiten we de tent niet op te zetten. We leggen de slaapmatjes op het grondzeil en kruiupen in onze slaapzakken. We genieten in het donker van de sterrenhemel.

Zondagmorgen stappen we om 7.30 uur op de fiets. Het is iets minder warm. De heuvels van 6-7 en soms 10% vertragen het tempo en ik loop weer regelmatig tegen mijn fiets te duwen. Als we ergens koffie zitten te drinken zien we krantenkoppen van "het ...
