We made a good effort to get up a bit earlier than usual this morning as the nearby town of Gaillac has a market in each Friday. Early for us mind you was 8:30am... The market was good for a small town. Consisting of fruit, veg, meats (fresh and cured), cakes/breads as well as a variety of ornaments, clothing and even mattresses and doonas! We bought a beautiful salad bowl and cheese board made from 200yr old olive wood. The grain and colour is incredible. The kids ...

We left here and travelled to a castle about 1/2hr away called Chateau de Penne. ...

... Found the supermarket and a pub so all was good. About 2:30pm we left Gaillac and drove out to the house we were staying out. We met Stephane at Castelnau who then directed us out to the property. Well we weren't disappointed. Great views, large well appointed house with underfloor heating, wood fire (with plenty of wood outside), excellent ...

... Riveira. Yes we know, it is a hard life for some.

Nathan also got the chance to do one last run around Montpezat and was surprised to discover another little enclave of houses off a side street which also provided another wonderful view of the surrounding area, surely now we have covered all the streets!

In Montauban we had to visit Roy's favourite toy shop where he grabbed a couple of bargains with ...
