... could challenge it! Construction started in 1195 and it was completed in 1215. OMG! It is stupendous, amazing, awe inspiring etc etc.(We are running out of superlatives for France.) There is a distinct calm and reverence about it, and we took so many photos, as every corner had something amazing; whether it was the exquisite stained glass windows or the "mini chapels' in each copse.
