Carnivale a Les Matelles
... same group kept popping out of another alley. At one point they were stopped around a corner. It sounded like one of them t youths they might be lost, but they looked around th e corner and one little girl said, "no, C'est Le monsieur aced Le velo". Now I was a enough part of the town to be a geographic marker. After all that, I headed towards Montferrier, because that was the smallest road. I still have a bit of work to do before I can spend all day in the hills "dans une ballade en velo" ( honest, that is what they call a bikeride; ot pretty mich sums up the French love of cycling) I'll get there ...

I did manage to get it patched and inflated, so continued along to Aigues Mortes. Now I am having my first beer of the trip. It's good too. - particularly so because it is hot and sunny (the bell just chimed 3). Well, time to finish this and head back to Montpellier. A la ...
