... to return to the place of burial. More in Johan's fundraising efforts to get the statues completed can be found here http://www.brothersinarmsmemorial.com/. Johan also very passionately showed us some documentaries on Australians in the war in Belgium while we ate our ham and cheese toasties (that he insisted all Australians love!) and set out on our way to Namur.

Arriving in Namur we had our first Air B&B experience. After a while of waiting outside calling the door ...

Today we drove about 200km in the ****ing rain ... Both wet till the bone!! Luckily we found a small camping with rooms for rent. The room is actually very big, with a kitchen included. After everything was unpacked, I enjoyed a warm shower after having very cold the whole day long. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice meal in the local restaurant. It is now 21.15h but I guess I will not be awake for a long time anymore. Sleep ...

We skirted Reims, one of the most fascinating cities in France. It was founded by the Remi tribe of the Gauls who allied themselves with Julius Caesar while he was conquering the region. It was Vandalized (literally) in the early 400s, and later in the same century sacked and burned by Attila the Hun (yes he came this far!).

... it had to do. Isi tried reversing slowly (still with line attached for safety) so we could retrieve it but the wash from our engine caused it to go back even further! The boat hook drifted towards the party boat which was much lower in the water than us, and after signalling to them about the situation, and to much cheering they retrieved it for us. The night was cold again... I slept in my jacket))

It was a strange system of heating in our sleeping/dining room... As it was a school dining room it was heated during the day but the heating was turned off at night... It's like children should be warm during their being in that dining room..ok... but what about us?

I still don't understand why they couldn't do anything with that heating...
