Originally there used to be 72 towers where the villagers would hide when people came to attack their village now there is only about 14 left.     ... and our time slot is at 2:30 PM), we decided to finish up the other places near the Duomo. We went to the Duomo Museum to see the real Michelangelo's "Doors of Paradise" and the Baptistry for everything gold and following Robert Langdon's footsteps haha.     ... sunset over the Arno River so at about 5:45 PM I walked over to Ponte S. Trinita, which has a wonderful view towards Ponte Vecchio (the bridge with all of the shops built into it). For just about an hour I stood on the bridge (with quite a few others—ha!) and took picture after picture at all the different levels of light.
