So we went to Piazza Della Signoria again to draw, since mommy was regretting not having done a shaded piece. She's apparently forbidden it I post hers, but I'll give you mine. I only did the Roman because I could NOT get the proportions for the mother's arms and then I got bored and decided to shade his raised shoulder because I love the shape the muscle makes there and just sort of kept going. Ostia Antica
Well forget tiring. I think today was a new high for walking. We went to the ruins of the ancient Roman Port city of Ostia Antica as we leave Rome on our way to Florence. They have excavated this entire Roman town. Parts are still in ruins, but other parts were amazingly well preserved. It was hard walking on the cobblestones, but to think we were walking ...
