This weekend was probably #2 (Greece is obsiously #1) on my list of class trips because of how much free time we had to ourselves to do whatever we wanted and because it was really nice to be able to hang out with anyone in our class during that time or during dinner and just really get to know everyone just a little bit better before we finish this semester in style!

... of wine on the trip (part of the set menu). We enjoyed the meal though for being able to sit and relax in quieter location and chatting with Bernd, a 77 year old German at the table next to us. The trip back to Florence on the bus about 4.30pm was quicker - the bus had ...

The market reminded me of Plymouth or borough, a nineteenth century building with a great food court above - I think a steak will be coming from ...

... basket there filled with letters. A walk around the block brings us in a big circle to the other end of the same laneway where a red banner drapes down the front of Casa Dei Dante, Dante’s House. Should have been tipped off on this one as the street is named after him too. A short street later we emerge into the now bight sunshine in Piazza Della Signora and establish the meeting point for the tour. A quick race over Ponte Vecchio to drop off the bag ...

Ahh Florence in the summer is amazing crowds are not too bad. We have undertaken lots of shopping and sight seeing. The on / off buses are the way to go to see everything. Big climb to the top of the Cathedral Duormo. 463 steps to the top for the view. It's not for the faint hearted some of the spiral staircases there is only room for one and some areas not much fresh ...
