... beautiful, up and up to a hilltop estate built in the late 1400's . We toured the olive oil processing facility as well as the wine making facility. Alexander has an American mother and Italian father, and speaks both languages fluently. The main building is constructed all in stone, the lower level like the Tower of London, and from every window are the beautiful hills if Tuscany. Ready for an early night to see the sights properly tomorrow.

We walked to the Ponte Vecchio and saw that statue of David. After our tour we saw a leather demonstration, which I learnt a lot. After that some free time to explore. Had a fantastic lunch of pasta. Next on the road again heading to Rome. First night in Rome starts with a walking tour. Starting at the Colosseum, to ...

... After the tower we explore the town some more and found a wine tasting. We tasted 6 different wines and they were delicious. :) After the wine tasting we made our way back to Florence for a night on the town. Jonathan went home early but the rest of us stayed out all night dancing at a club. It was such a fun night. In hindsight, it was not our best move, as we had booked a wine tasting for the next day and had to change from our apartment to a ...
