Today was a day of meeting with a variety of academics/practitioners.

We had breakfast with Professor Richards. A Brit, originally from Liverpool, now in academia in St Louis specialising in media law (defamation/privacy/data) and criminal law. Therefore an ideal match for Clara (a media lawyer) and I. Clara particularly enjoyed the breakfast on offer at the typical American brekkie diner- Clara Pancakes! Prof Richards is very down to earth, it was great to meet ...

We are back in our ‘home’ for a joyful reunion with our family in the States, and back to balmy evening air – so much so that we ate dinner outside. All morning we had driven through fog, but by lunchtime, it lifted and we rolled up our sleeves.

The cabin was moved to this site and restored. In the 1950's a building (designed by Mark Twain’s daughter Clara) was constructed around the house and the museum expanded. More information and a biographical DVD added to my knowledge of the area and his life.

The inflight movies were "McFarland USA" (enjoyable family film), "The Imitation Game" and "Alice in Wonderland." No one in our family slept much, pretty typical for us on any flight.

... for sure when we get home if we forgot.  Lucky for our kids, this road trip passes 5 Hard Rocks! How hard could it be?  How many times can you drive around the same block in St. Louis? For some unknowns reason The Hard Rock Cafe St. Louis is HIDDEN at Union Station a mile and half away from downtown.  By the time we found it and got the shirts, it was almost dinner time so we decided to just eat there. George says we got really nice ones this ...
