... up to do workwise that he had to pass on going into the actual horse park. Elena and I rode our bikes over-which gave us a great overview of the entire park. Saw many horses and riders practicing for various events. We had a great day visiting the museums and attending several of the horse shows. It is a beautiful facility as is the state of Kentucky. We learned so many amazing facts about the vast horse world, but with that being said, what we now know would fit on the top ...

Day 1 was long and Day 2 looked to be just as long and hilly. We got 3/4's the way done and called it quiets. We hit up a road and then had DNR drop us off at a our vehicle. A pretty tough day of hiking because of the distance, mud, and change in elevation, but not very technical or pretty of a hike.

Day 1 stats: 18.33 miles, 42,316 steps (new record), ~3,323 calories burned, and 307 floors climbed (new record).

Drove 320 miles from Columbia, MO to Santa Claus, Indiana. As we were driving through St. Louis, we stopped at the Arch, which was right near the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium. Briefly visited the museum under the Arch, and then had lunch at Caleco's. Stayed at an adorable campground/RVpark called Lake Rudolph in Santa Claus, Indiana, which as you can guess, is a Christmas-themed ...

... the resort, we walked into the Casino. It wasn't very busy. But we didn't stay very long - we probably were there for all of 20 minutes, sharing $5 on the nickle slot.

After that we headed over the main dining room in West Baden, Sinclair's. But we found it closed. So we are ate 'alfresco' in the atrium at Ballard's.

We got home about 6:15 pm. A really nice afternoon, and we're both still just too full to even think about ...
