... horse and the racing world. Elena had a great time feeding and petting the horses. Elena had never had fondue and so wanted to try it. There was a Melting Pot in Lexington, so off we went that evening. We had a ball. Ordered 3 courses. Began with cheese fondue, salad, then beef, chicken, shrimp that we battered and fried and topped it off with decadent chocolate fondue. Made a great memory and Elena loved it. We were all full up to our ears when we left. Monday, Rob had so ...

Drove 320 miles from Columbia, MO to Santa Claus, Indiana. As we were driving through St. Louis, we stopped at the Arch, which was right near the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium. Briefly visited the museum under the Arch, and then had lunch at Caleco's. Stayed at an adorable campground/RVpark called Lake Rudolph in Santa Claus, Indiana, which as you can guess, is a Christmas-themed ...

... the resort, we walked into the Casino. It wasn't very busy. But we didn't stay very long - we probably were there for all of 20 minutes, sharing $5 on the nickle slot.

After that we headed over the main dining room in West Baden, Sinclair's. But we found it closed. So we are ate 'alfresco' in the atrium at Ballard's.

We got home about 6:15 pm. A really nice afternoon, and we're both still just too full to even think about ...
