... and told to go right and it should be right there. We hunted around a bit looking very much like lost tourists with our full sets of luggage but we found it and we are settling in now. We are all VERY tired since none of us slept on the plane. I've made a cup of tea....since I am British for the week that seemed like the first thing I should do...and we are resting for a short ...

... my way around the place with all the familiar items, pictures and smells I finally broke down as I walked into the third bedroom with the old bunk beds we used when we were little. I have been avoiding thinking about my Grandpas passing but there was no avoiding here. I miss him terribly. But his home will hopefully help me get past this odd sleep cycle I have. (As I write this at 2:45am!!!!!!) I am going to show Dan ...

A Hill!

On Wednesday the goal was to ride around 55km as this is about the daily distance next week. We started the morning by heading towards one of the parks in Manchester. We knew the park was on a hill but I hadn't quite mentally prepared myself for 8km slow constant climb. I made it to the top without walking! I am not a hill convert though I would rather go round a hill then up it :). After a while riding through the park we decided to head out ...

... 300 times before they made it big -the school that Paul and George attended together, which was right next to the university of arts that John was attending at the time. After the tour we had planned to visit the World Museum and the Maritime Museum but unfortunately there was a strike on and so they were all closed. Instead after a relaxed lunch we walked up to the Anglican cathedral. We made our way through the slightly creepy park/ cemetery that surrounding ...

Today we continued on from York to the home of the Beatles, Liverpool! Before making our way to the York train station we walked down the river and saw Clifford's tower and made some friends with the local Canadian geese. This tower was the setting of a very sad story. A group of Jews were chased by a mob and took shelter here until deciding to take their own lives instead of renouncing their faith. Once at the York train station we visited ...

    Excellent

    from

    Excellent and very friendly.

It was our first time there, made you feel very welcome.

    Brilliant location.

I could not believe our son, we could not stop him talking to suzanne, as he is normally shy and will not say a word until he knows you.we really enjoyed staying there.

We can not wait to book up next year.

All bring well see you next year

    Great hotel

    from

Just returned from a weekend at the Leatham Park hotel. We are a family of 2 adutls and 5 children and Suzanne didnt bat an eyelid when we arrived! The family room had a double bed and 2 sets of bunkbeds which was perfect for us. It was at the front of the hotel though so on a busy weekend it was a bit noisy at night but the children didnt seem to mind! The only downside was that there is no easy parking - you have to park up the road which wouldnt be a problem if you dont need the car all weekend but if you do you could find yourself without a space anywhere. Suzanne makes a great breakfast and is an amazing hostess...thank you so much Suzanne!

    Excellent location

    from

brilliant b&b helpful and friendly family who run it. would def go again.

the location is approx 5-8 mins walk from the clubs which is good you dont want to be staying next to them as its very noisy up there.

all groups and couples seemed to really enjoy their weekends and was very reasonable price so def recommend

    Fabulous weekend

    from

I came to Blackpool to stay at the Leatham Park hotel with a group of girls for a hen weekend. The hotel catered for us brilliantly and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Suzanne and Stuart were extrememly welcoming and friendly and it was like a home from home. The breakfast was fabulous in the morning.

I would love to come back to this hotel. We had an amazing time here and they were really good at catering for hen weekends.

    THANK YOU!!

Just come back from an amazing two night stay in Blackpool. The owners of the Leatham Park Hotel were very helpful and always point us in the best direction for food and entertainment. They also provided a special Hen Party game of Bingo and Pass the Parcel - a good way to start the night. The beds were really comfortable and the place to stay was an ideal location, very central without paying over the odds. I would recommend to anyone whether for a weekend for hen or stag parties as well as the families for a week long visit.

We stayed for one night to visit the Pleasure Beach and found Suzanne and stuart to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Suzanne's home cooked evening meal was fab just what we needed after a long day. The breakfast the following morning was also superb. The location of the hotel is perfect for all Blackpool has to offer with ample free parking. We will definately be back for another visit soon.

    Homely and friendly for all.

    Cracking Weekend!

    from

We have just had a lovely weekend in Blackpool! We stayed at the Leatham Park Hotel, which was like home from home! The rooms are clean and very homely, the breakfast was great too! Stuart and Suzanne are lovely hosts and we are hoping to go back later in the year.

    Always a pleasure

    from

We have just returned from our fourth stay at the Leatham Park hotel and have enjoyed yet another fantastic night! This is the only B&B I have kept coming back to year after year because the welcome is always warm and friendly, and the rooms are always immaculately clean. Sometimes it can be very difficult to find somewhere that is happy to take on same sex groups for just one night in Blackpool but Leatham feels like a home from home, and they also cater equally as well for families.

The owners are wonderful and full of fun, and I really look forward to going back again next year! This place really is a little bit special, and I would never consider staying anywhere else in Blackpool, it just wouldn't feel the same!
