      I write this entry from our little room in the mountains by the Gorges De Verdun, sitting by the open window and being serenaded by crickets. It is dark and peaceful, with no noises around other than the sounds of nature.       We have just left the Gite and are enroute to Sisteron via Malmoissin along rte A 51 Route du Val De Durance. It's a beautiful sunny day and we have said au revoirnto Ferdinand and Monsieur Speth. It's very clear with blue skies and crisp temp of 8C. The valley looks so green and fresh this AM.
