... to be eaten in a particular order. Sounds full on but at the time (over a couple of hours with some good wine and conversation) it was actually a great experience. We felt very French!

Tomorrow we are on our way to Italy so a great way to finish the French leg of our trip! Au revoir France and thank you, you have been better than we could imagine!!

... wine tour the next morning that Tom organised for us. Saw everything in the process from the crushing of the grapes, through the fermentation stages and to bottling! Really interesting and their final product is of super quality :) They do manage to sell 1-million bottles a year, so not everyone can be wrong!

As the little ones wake up early, we made a point of getting up at reasonable hour. The best part about staying with the family is that we immediately became part of the family, we fit in and no one was put out.

After showing in a "proper" shower we hit the coastal road for our day trip to Saint Tropez. One of the places that I wanted to tick off. It was a gorgeous sunny day ...

A cyclist flagged us down on our way back to the motor way:

Cyclist – “Bonjour, you want to know the way to Cape Town? Follow this road, turn right then head south. You will get there eventually! (laughs)”

From here it was full steam ahead to La Crau and the home of Tom and Marie, two good friends from ...
