... then about 12 different salamis including deer, wild boar, duck and a selection that were flavoured with goats cheese, herbs, and all other things you can imagine! JACKPOT! This was definitely lunch and probably some dinner snacks combined!

A quick chat and we picked one local goats milk cheese, a cows milk cheese from Thorenc and a venison salami.

Back on the road, cruising through the alpine roads, that were suprisingly good, nice and smooth ...

30 minute bus trip to the olive vineyards, had to turn back just out of the town because the "Baltimores" got left behind. Stan the Canadian made such fun of it we were in stitches saying he was surprised it wasn't the kiwis missing haha. The tour of the olive oil production was fascinating and the tasting superb. ... still damp - they felt dry in the dryer but oh well, you can figure out the rest - the bathroom here now looks like a clothesline.

GG has gone to get himself some lunch and for a stroll on a lovely Avignon afternoon and I've had a sleep. I now feel marginally less dead. The window of our room overlooks a lovely garden. I'll upload a photo but it won't do it justice.

Hoping tomorrow is a better day, I want to shake this before our flights!
