    ... bought a house here. The port is picture-postcard perfect, the backstreets charming and the boutiques chic. The fine beaches lie outside the town. We walked the cobbled streets noting that very little opens here, as in most parts of Europe before 10:00. Eventually we all decided to sit and watch the 'beautiful people' and to do so we needed to stop into a restaurant and have coffee (8:00 euro for a cappuccino = $12:00).     ... have.a picnic tonight. Temperature about 28C. Everything is clean here. An oddity is the toilet paper system. The only place where you can get toilet paper is at the first cubicle.     This was one of the boys favourite trips of the week. Ancient caves (like 34 million years ancient) discovered by a farmer only 100 years ago when he found holes in the ground and explored further. What a discovery - as you can tell from the pictures - amazing formations and an interesting young guide who gave her commentary in both French and English. It reminded us of the Waitomo and other glow worm caves in NZ but bigger stalactites and no glow worms! ...

    ... placed near some fields since lavender honey is a popular variety. We set off down a small departmental road and noticed that there were a lot fewer vehicles which was nice. We stopped at another field that was planted on a hill and as Anoop went off to take more photos, he got his second bee sting of the day.
