    ... Very informative they said. It was the local nazi head quarters. Lots of the prisoners were 18 or younger, as these were the resistance fighters.

    We all meet at the Joest Museum, which is an ethnologic collection based on Mr Joest's travel acquisitions in the 1800's. The curation of the museum was really well done, with beautiful presentation, and thought provoking observations on religions, nomads, household organizations.

    ... extensive and used to extend into Belgium and all together was over 200km in length. During WWII 15 people were able to escape Germany using the caves.     Noah here! Rain for 40 days and 40 nights and we're still afloat. Slight exaggeration, but we've had our share, and I'm writing this to the patter of raindrops on the roof. And we had plenty more overnight in Koblenz. As planned we made visits to several Aldi/Lidl shops, and we're now awash with wine. Low centre of gravity though so we shouldn't capsize.     As I sit on the train heading to Eindhoven to be picked up for my next family visit I am again surprised that I am here and also that the time flows so quickly. All the more reason to be present to it all. I am reminded again of how fortunate I am. To have such good family and be able to travel to visit with them.
