... The menu looked so good, perhaps we ate rather too much. Starter meat-cheese plate, wine, lasagna (guess who), carbonara, papa al pomodore for me and Pasta Amatracia for Ann...we couldn't stop eating...so randomly excellent! We drove across to the West side of chianti and visited San Gimignano...entered one end...shopping all the way to the other end and stopping only long enough to check out the "best gelato in Italy" ...

Our final day in Florence due to an end with another walk back to our hotel, followed by a well earned dinner at nice little, yes you guessed it, Italian restaurant ......
