... town more on the Tram and Tourist train around the city. Extremely beautiful boutique shops with amazing shoes and specialist items, all of which I loved but obviously could not afford. The weather was very cold with some sunny patches, wish I bought my boots as I would have got a lot of ware out of them! Froze a bit. Caught train back to Chateau. It was great, and we got to talk to the owner who luckily for us spoke not bad English. Dinner in Angers was in an Italian restaurant with a very friendly vibrant Italian host who was a real character especially once we told him we were from NZ. Pizza and pasta for dinner and we were sorted for another ...

... the motorway. But the campsite was easy to find and reception was still open. Most receptions open limited hours and out of season, even shorter hours with lunch breaks from 12 till 2.30. So got sorted, found a pitch which suited and settled down. A lunch of cold roti de porc was garlicky, but filled the spaces. And off to see our ...
