    We had 2 wonderful nights in Ragusa staying in a B & B in the middle of Ragusa Superiore and the old town Ragusa Ibla.We wandered the streets heading in the direction of Ragusa Ibla, not really knowing what to expect when we turned a corner to be greeted by the most amazing view of the old Baroque town, Ragusa Ibla – bella vista.     ... called Mad. They didn't have carafes of wine so I had two glasses of white, love their whites, and helped Eldon with a bottle of red wine. This restaurant is known for it's wine bar. We shared a green salad, I had risotto with wild asparagus, and Eldon had some kind of rolled chicken stuffed with I don't know what.     We got settled in, and Eldon and I walked to the cathedral. This church was originally a Greek Temple of Athena built in the 5th century B.C. Then later, during the Renaisance the cathedral was constructed maintaining the temple columns in tact. There was also a great Medieval influence left here. It was spectacular to see. We sat across from the church and enjoyed a refreshing cold beer.
