What a day! This morning we again started with three hours of schooling in the morning before we headed off for the afternoon exploring. Today our destination was Saint Cirq Lapopie. This town is truly spectacular and is officially listed as one of 'the most beautiful villages in France' and in 2012 was voted as France's most popular village.

Caught a taxi from Saint Come to Estaing it would have been 15.5 walk, quite manageable however Jane is still unwell and Helen seems to have caught the bad cough as well. We had a biggish night last night and so we were a bit slow rising this morning, and being Sunday, it's traditional to have a bit of a lie-in. And also, being Sunday, it's also traditional for us, to have bacon and eggs for breakfast. Wow - number 1 village by far. As you will see in some of the photo's the properties and views are stunning. We wandered in and around many of the cobble stone type streets, through small tunnels and passageways. There is a reason they have all non residents park in one spot at the bottom as the narrow 'roads' would be a nightmare for a non-resident to manage. Walking was a balancing act in ...
