Naples, Amalfi coast and Paestum temples
... down from the rains earlier.
We finally left Amalfi and headed south to our next stop in Paestum. There is a great museum and ancient town built by the Greeks in 500BC to check out. There are 3 big Greek temples there also. Temple of Ceres, temple of Neptune, and temple of Hera. Very impressive!
Tomorrow is a driving day with no major tourist stops. After that we take the ferry to Sicily.

Oh! Campania!!
... dirt floor into a dance floor. Then after a sprint to the beach for a dip, a sprint back to the
hotel in order to make curfew.
Sunday, we woke up tired, but luckily we only had to see a few old temples at Paestum before getting on the buses and returning to campus, full of good food, memories, new friendships, and the discovery of paprika flavored Pringles (seriously, I think the girls sitting near me on the bus had three packages.) Does life get better?

Bellagio!!!
I was the last person in our group to make it to breakfast day (although I wouldn't have classified 8.45am as late!)
The continental breakfast was delicious :-)
Today is a relaxed day - departure at 10.30 to catch a boat over to the island of Bellagio. I plan to do some souvenir (ie handbag shopping here!). Managed to write my postcards this morning. The kind lady at the reception desk said she'd post them for me.

Went for dinner at 7.30pm. Had a salad starter followed by lasagne - which was very nice! then out came the chicken course - no way was I expecting to have to eat that much!
The wine was free flowing this evening. We get to have a lie-in tomorrow - don;t have to go to breakfast until 8.30-9ish :-)
Heading off to do battle with the room key & tuck in as this was a very busy day with a lot of activity ...
