The true adventure begins! Off to Guildford, pick up jake an off to Dover for the tunnel crossing! Party on!! The WWII war lookalike train to France carts is trough.. An too no border control or anything in France.. After driving in confusion were lost in a matter of 30min, manage to trek to a town called bolengse, get Mexican smash some wine an first night in the buss! Doesn't get dark till 11pm ...

... all of the graves, and these ones includes the soldiers names and age. It is tough to walk by when you can see how young they were. We were then taken to the Australian Memorial Park at le Hamel. There was a lot of work being done in this memorial and you can see it is going to look amazing when it is finished. I'm not sure I have seen the Australian flag and the ANZAC rising sun more times in France then I would ever see at home. This experience has been humbling to say the least.

Billed as 'a day beside the seaside' we were all a bit disappointed when we woke to find it drizzling. We have had such fantastic weather that it seemed a bit mean to have rain today of all days.
