... salad, fruit, and a platter of cookies followed. . . enough food for twice as many people as seated at our table (especially because Abby didn’t eat much at all!). The experience really immerses you in Sardinian culture…those farm to table restaurants back home will never be the same!

Go Karts. . . The Pista Go-Kart place is just around the way from our villa, and we have passed it dozens of times in the past week, each time Jackson sitting ...

The rest of our time in Arbatax

We had to catch a semi-hourly bus from our hotel within the resort up through the wildlife park and to the spa. The wildlife park there was wonderful and it was just wide open space that extended up the mountain and around the spa. ...

    Getting to Arbatax, Sardinia!

A travel blog entry by malloryharvie on Jun 20, 2014

We decided to leave Rome a day early and head to Sardinia for the last leg of our European vacation. Our last morning in Rome we went back to Vatican City to check out the line to Saint Peter's Basilica to see if we could get in but unfortunately, it was the largest line we had seen yet. Instead we just took in the view for a couple of minutes and headed back to the hotel to pack up.

We ended up getting a shuttle that we found online to take us ...
