Day 42 - Bari Italy
This morning after no sleep - thanks to the people in the cabin next door we started our day with a wonderful massage at the day spa. The massage was exactly what I needed. We then went for breakfast, then back to the coffee bar where I was served a soy latte without any hostility or confrontation! We disembarked at Bari at lunch time. ... salad, fruit, and a platter of cookies followed. . . enough food for twice as many people as seated at our table (especially because Abby didn’t eat much at all!). The experience really immerses you in Sardinian culture…those farm to table restaurants back home will never be the same!

... excursions similar to the ones we did on the cruise ship. We also swam the most at the spa's pool because it was adults only, which was pretty nice.
Our hotel was more like a townhouse in a big white concrete row. All these cottages and townhouses like this reminded me of being in Greece and even the spa was decorated similarly. There are also these giant trees that have really pretty bright pink flowers on them that would fall off and onto the ground. ...
... did manage to figure out how to send my bank a confidential email using online banking (again, thank you Nathan!). So I felt better knowing I had let them know what was going on so that steps could be taken to have things resolved.

We spent the majority of the day lounging by the pool and did the routine later on in the afternoon once it had started to cool off. The spa was at the top of the mountain, so we found it did get cooler up there before the other places on the resort. It did make for some pretty spectacular views though!
