... our bags and then headed to the supermarket for supplies for dinner. I am starting to understand why my couchsurfers always look so shocked when they return front the supermarket when they arrive in Perth. We brought spaghetti sauce, 2 bags of corn chips, mozzarella cheese, crime fraich ( couldn't find sour cream), 2 cans of kidney beans, 2 x 100 g bars of chocolate, sensodine toothpaste and the total cost was 10.85 euros...about $15 at home it would have been closer to $30.

... all the flames!!! Speaking of learning about Belgium in Brussels, I think I am going to have a pretty boring week at work again, so I will try and tell you a little bit each day about my Saturday in Brussels so that you can get a flavor of the place. ... Berlin in our Audi A6.   All in all, Belgium was thoroughly enjoyable.  We had great weather with a few minor exceptions. I was very glad to have purchased leggings and a long sleeved shirt in Brussels before started riding, as I  needed them almost every day for at least part of the day or evening. ... had passed a place called 'Hoegaarden' and was pleased with his powers of observation. The group soon gave way to the beer thirst and before long we stopped for a supermarket shop for ice, to keep all the beer and wine for 40 people cold. We went with some friends to La Brasserie d' Vapeur (www.vapeur.com/vap0E.html), a traditional Belgian brewery. Once a month they host an informational session where they show the brewing process starting at 9am. Then they host a lunch where everything is made with beer - great idea.
