... spot in other circumstances where I not there with another dude sweating profusely in motorbike gear. No point in dwelling too long, maybe the next place would be a paradise for two such dudes. Finally we came upon Hossegar, famous as it is for great surf. For an hour we laboured in the sweltering heat trying to find the elusive surf lodges I had been promised were here. Finally someone gave me directions I could understand and ...
... treats, and drunk our way through litres of yummy sangria, cheap beer and wine. We have done our fair share of French and Spanish radio which clearly play the same 15 or so pop songs on rotation, Spanish radio was slightly better. And despite the fact that we had to share our shower time with beach goers and always wonder where our next toilet will be, we both have loved the camping life in our van and can't wait to do it all over again another day somewhere else in the ...

After Madrid I headed to South France to do some surfing and relaxing. I stayed with a friend of a friend, Georg, and hanging out with him was great. Georg and I have a similar sense of humor (haha rare find for me) and I was pretty lucky because Georg is a surf instructor and lives a five minute walk from the beach.
I wish I could write a bunch for this entry but all what I really did for the week was surf and cook food every day. It was pretty great and I owe Georg big time.
