... for miles. We stayed at the Stratosphere which has a big tower attached to it. At the top of the tower there is an amusement park. You go up 1,061 feet and travel at 21 miles an hour in the lift. The viewing area is very similar to the Sydney tower - enclosed with glass around it. Once we finished there, we then went up to the open deck to watch the rides. We all gathered at the bottom of the mountain where the whole of Sunpeaks called out 1, 2, 3 and we put our torches in the snow and the new year's fireworks were set off. The fireworks went on forever and it was such an amazing thing to watch just on the mountain in front of us.
